Same Local Heart, Modern New Tools: The Gaff’s Realty Acquisition

If you’ve noticed the scenery changing or a new look on my marketing materials this week, I want to clear the air right away: I haven’t gone anywhere.

Gaff’s Realty, my professional home for the last five years, has been acquired by Coldwell Banker Coast Realty.

For someone like me who values loyalty above all else, a change this sudden is a lot to process. After half a decade in one place, it feels a lot like being told a marriage is over without any warning signs—and then being asked to marry someone else you just met. It has been a heavy week, both mentally and physically, as I’ve worked to navigate what this transition means for my clients and my business.

However, my confidence in this new chapter comes from the people involved. I want to personally thank Andrea Davis for her leadership over the last five years. I know for a fact that Andrea did not take the sale of her company lightly. She did her due diligence to ensure that Rob Kellar and the leadership at Coldwell Banker Coast Realty share the same business model, the same high ethical standards, and the same commitment to the community that she built her reputation on. Knowing they share that common core is why I am ready to move forward.

Evolved Tech, Local Service

It’s easy to see a big name like Coldwell Banker and worry that the “mom and pop” feel is gone. But here is the reality: the “Coast Realty” part of that name is the most important piece of the puzzle.

Coldwell Banker Coast Realty is locally owned and independently operated. It is run by people who live right here in our community. I am still running my business as a friendly “mom and pop” operation that you can trust—not a corporate office where you’re just a number.

The way I see it, this is Gaff’s Realty with a more modern toolkit. I’ve gained access to a more sophisticated tech stack and advanced ways to reach people that simply weren’t available before. From enhanced digital placement to smarter marketing tools, I can now get your home in front of more qualified buyers with more precision. I’m not changing my “boots on the ground” style; I’m just upgrading the equipment I use to get the job done.

The Heavy Lifting Behind the Scenes

I’ve spent this week in the trenches of this transition. From redesigning the signage for my truck to retooling my website and digital ads, I’m doing the manual labor now so that my clients don’t feel a single bump in the road.

What stays the same:

  • My Direct Line: You still call the same number to reach me.
  • My Accountability: I still believe in human expertise and “common sense” over automated corporate systems.
  • My Location: I am still working out of the same building in Port Orange (the old Gaff’s office) that you’ve always known.

You’ll see a new logo on my yard signs and a fresh look on the “KEIWORTH K350” truck around town, but the person behind the brand is the same one you’ve trusted for the last five years. I’m proud of where I’ve been, and I’m excited to show you what this new modern toolkit can do for your next move.
